The Dusk till Dawn Grand Prix is one of the most innovative and anticipated events of the summer. The format of the poker tournament, which has a €250,000.00 guarantee, enables players to enter (and re-enter) the event both online and at the club and, due to the unique event structure, Dusk till Dawn is predicting August´s Grand Prix will smash its own record of 1,564 for the largest number of players entered in a live UK poker event.
How the DtD Grand Prix Works
The DtD Grand prix consists of 20 (twenty!) Day 1s – 10 are available online from next Monday, with 10 more hosted by the Nottingham club from Saturday 13th August. The top 10 per cent from each Day 1 starts Day 2 on Saturday 20th with an equal number of chips (irrespective of how well you played on Day 1) and the tournament concludes on Sunday 21st.
Re-Entering the DtD Grand Prix
If you fail to make the top 10% at your first Day 1 attempt, you can re-enter the event in any of the subsequent Day 1s (so, in theory, you could re-enter up to 19 times!). All Day 1s, whether online or at the club have 10,000 starting chips and a 10 minute clock, and late registration is allowed until the first person is eliminated from the event.
DtD Grand Prix Days 2 and 3
Everybody who makes it through to Day 2 is guaranteed to cash in the event, so the atmosphere is anticipated to be bright and lively. All players start Day 2 with 15,000 chips (40 minute clock) and retain their stacks going into Day 3, when the tournament is played to a conclusion.
