Do you have what it takes to join the Bwin Poker League of Champions? Now is your chance to find out, as Bwin Poker begins its 2010 Poker League of Champions promotion. And it’s open to players from the UK only.
Having just started two days ago, on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, the Bwin Poker League of Champions promotion involves twice weekly freeroll tournaments open solely to UK online poker players, held every Tuesday and Thursday between now and April 14, 2010 at Bwin Poker. It’s an intense six week long competition where the only way to win is knock out your opponents and stay alive to the very end.
First prize is a VIP package for two to games in both the AC Milan and the Real Madrid. The package includes airfire, tournament buy-ins, accommodations, and £3,000 in expense cash. Now get this…the second and third prize packages are the same as the first prize package, except with smaller sums of expense cash: £1,000 and £500 respectively. Fourth, fifth, and sixth places get £500, £250, and £100, respectively. And either football t-shirts, Bwin t-shirts, or £1,000 freeroll entries to the remaining 150 top placers.
The Bwin Poker League of Champions competition starts with a dozen freeroll tournaments (Groups A through L), with the top 50 finishers in each freeroll advancing to one of six Knockout Stages (i.e. the top 50 from both Groups A & B will compete in Knockout Stage 1; the top 50 from both Groups C & D will compete in Knockout Stage 2, etc.).
The top 25 from each of these 6 Knockout Stages will advance to the Bwin Poker League of Champions Final on April 14 in which the prizes will be awarded.
