Julian Thew is truly a player with his star on the rise. With career earnings of over $2.6 million, and recent winner of the Dusk Till Dawn Monte Carlo, he has boosted his profile still further by being recently signed to Team Sky Poker.
Previous victories for Thew include the 2010 UK & Ireland Poker Tour in Galway, the 2009 Deep Stack Extravaganza Las Vegas, the Dusk Till Dawn Monthly Deepstack, the EPT Germany in Berlin, the EPT Barcelona, the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, the 2008 Paddy Power Irish Open in Dublin and the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour.
Speaking on his recent signing, Thew stated that he was “delighted” at being asked to join Sky Poker. He added that he looked forward to representing Sky Poker at various live tournaments around the world, as well as participating in their numerous online events. Other members of the Sky Poker Team seemed pleased with their newest acquisition.
