The 3-D online poker room’s two biggest tournaments of the month have been decided, and the winners crowned.
The two day long PKR Main Event was won by an Italian under the player name FruttAllin, who managed to beat a field over over one thousand players in order to claim the $6,694 first place prize. His winning hand was a pair of pocket 7s, which after pushing all-in formed a classic race against his opponent Kolleiff’s AJ.
In the PKR Masters event, British player PirateNation came first in the $100,000 game. This boosted his (already impressive) bankroll by a further $26,563. This means the Londoner sits third on PKR’s list of all-time highest money winners on the site, having cashed in a whopping 388 tournaments to date. Simon Prodger, PKR Marketing Director, commented that the first weekend of the month is always an exciting time on PKR.com, and offered his congratulations to both lucky winners.
For any budding poker stars who wish to enter these events in the following month, the next Main Event will take place on Sunday the 1st of May at 8pm GMT, while the next PKR Masters will be held on Saturday the 30th of April at 8pm GMT.
