Over the weekend, the latest PokerStars software update hiccupped, leaving hundreds of thousands of online poker players having to download the software again and reset their settings and display options. Players logging onto the site encountered the following message:-
“Unfortunately there has been a problem with the recent software update. To resolve this problem, please visit the pokerstars.com website, then download and install the PokerStars game software. This will overwrite the old version on your computer, and the software will now operate normally. During installation, please choose the “express install” option and if you are asked to overwrite any files, simply accept.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org”
No cash or play chip balances were affected and more than 5,600 players were still able to enter the feature Sunday Million, with Norway´s Dr. Greenish showing that he was not green at all and collecting the first prize of $128,865.
