A very popular UK Poker Player is Sam Trickett who had an exceptional WSOP and to be honest has had some of the best results and cashes in a phenomenal number of poker tournaments both in the UK and around the World.

This time it was another big stage and Sam won the Party Poker World Poker Open 2010 beating some of the games biggest names on the way, the wins adds a further $200,000 to Tricketts bank balance which along with the title is enough to make anyone smile!

We have long thought of Sam as one of the most talented poker players we have ever seen, his sense of the game is second to none, a professional approach, a nice guy and a worthy winner. I can promise you that this won’t be the last you hear about the player in 2010, and if there is someone who deserves to do well in the WSOPE this month Sam id the Man!

As Mike Sexton said, “He’s one helluva player, and you’ll be hearing a lot more of Sam Trickett, I can promise you that.”

A huge congratulation to Sam Trickett from everyone at UK Poker Player. This is Sams first major title despite being so close, so many times. We think the curse has been broken and look forward to seeing more silverware, bracelets and buckets full of cash on the way.
