The Rendezvous Casino is host to the UKIPT 2011 Brighton the schedule for which can be found below. The Marina provides the venue for Leg 6 of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT), sponsored by PokerStars.
From Wednesday July 13 until Sunday July 17, more than five hundred UK poker players are anticipated to descend on the biggest cardroom along the South Coast in pursuit of the title of UKIPT Brighton Champion 2011, and a place in the UKIPT Grand Finale tournament to be held in London towards the end of the year.
As well as being the largest cardroom in the South of England and host to regular daily, weekly and monthly domestic tournaments, the Rendezvous has an excellent location – being just a few minutes from Brighton City Centre, with good road and rail links to London and close to Gatwick Airport for competitors from the rest of Europe. Overlooking the English Channel, the Reflections restaurant provides three different menus according to the time of day, and there is the casino on site, drinks lounge and weekly entertainment.

UKIPT Brighton last Year will be a very hard act to follow after Jamie Burland´s brave victory in the Main Event. The “man they wouldn´t give a bar tab to” made some excellent calls against an aggressive Tomas Cibak in the heads up climax of the tournament, and left Brighton with a winner´s cheque of £65.400. Both Burland and Cibak had qualified for the Main Event through PokerStars qualifiers, and PokerStars will be giving everybody who wants to participate in UKIPT Brighton 2011 the chance to do it again.
